My history

The President and Managing Attorney of Pro Forma Immigration Attorneys, Inc, is Renée Taylor. I am an attorney licensed by the State of Georgia. I come from humble roots I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I was raised by two hard working parents; my dad was a truck driver, and my mom worked for State of Michigan as a Social Worker helping families and children.

At the age of 20, I joined the Navy and spent three years proudly serving my country. After my service was completed, I went back home to Grand Rapids, Michigan to finish college. After graduating from Davenport University, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia. After moving to Atlanta, I worked insurance industry. I had a lifelong dream to be an Attorney and decided to go to law school. It was hard as I had two young daughters and work my way through law school. But the struggle was worth it as I always wanted to defend people as I know what it was like to be discriminated against. For that reason, I have compassion and commitment to defend immigrants who are denied their rights. I have fought for the fair administration of justice at the Local, State, and Federal Level.

I graduated from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration. I graduated from Keller Graduate School of Management with a Master Degree in Business of Management and Master Degree in Public Administration where I learned about public policy, private industry and how to create and manage every type of business and government agency. This was when I started to learn about hard it is for businesses and families to navigate the incredibly complicated rules of US immigration laws.

After I received my Juris Doctor from Atlanta John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia, I initially practiced personal injury law fighting for clients to get justice and compensation for their catastrophic injuries. I later decided to focus my practice on immigration law and transitioned to supporting and defending families and businesses before USCIS, Department of Labor, US Department of State and Federal Immigration Courts and Detention Centers. I am committed to providing compassionate and high value legal services to help my clients gain a sense of stability, security, and obtain a bright future in the United States.
